WHO WE ARE

WE ARE HELPING HANDS

Social Awareness and Development Organization (SADO) is a not-for-profit non-governmental national Organization (NGO) established in 1995, in District Dir of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. SADO is registered under the 1961 ordinance of Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control).

Organization Objectives:

  • To ensure access to basic social services for the ignored and the most marginalized communities.
  • To promote peace and tolerance in the area.
  • To work for gender based community development.
  • To indentify the vulnerability/problems of the marginalized community and provide facilitation and collaboration with other humanitarian actors to take initiatives to address the long term and immediate needs of such communities.
  • To establish local organizations, build their capacity through training and networking.
  • To build capacity of community/CSOs for disaster response and emergency management.
