Ininstitutional Strength

The organization is governed by seven member governing board. President/ Executive Director are working on behalf of the Board as Ex-Officio Director and full time employee of the organization. The President/ Executive Director is supported by two Directors for the day today management of the organizational affairs. The President/Executive Director and the two directors act as the executive committee of the organization.
SADO employs a dedicated team of professionals for managing its various programs and projects. The staff includes qualified Engineers, Doctors, Chartered Accountant, MBAs, Agriculturist, Social Scientists, I.T specialist and Lawyers.

Organization Structure:


a. Financial, HR and Logistic System:

SADO has strong internal control mechanism in place and has operation manuals/standards on Human resource Management, Finance and Logistics/Procurements. SADO had been using financial and logistic software of Quick Book.

b. Internal Audit Committee:

SADO has a BOD internal audit committee appointed in the 2011- BOD meeting. This committee is entrusted with the function to undertake a periodic review of financial operations. A full time compliance manager is working to ensure general internal and financial control and compliance to SADO operational standards based on GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and donor agreements. He has been obligated to report directly to the audit committee of the BOD.

c. Monitoring & Evaluation:

An appropriately strengthened monitoring & evaluation to ensure effectiveness, quality of program, and accountability to donor and beneficiaries. SADO has established internal checks and balances (including hierarchal concurrence) to maintain quality of the outputs to the satisfaction of the client. The Unit meets frequently with project staff to review and evaluate the progress, and provide technical backstopping for incorporating findings of monitoring & evaluation in the implementation.
SADO monitoring mechanism includes regular field visits by trained monitoring staff, regular collection of data regarding activities and its analysis, provision of regular feedback to staff after their periodical performance appraisal, use of modern techniques like GPS for tracking activities & beneficiaries maintaining a complete profile of each beneficiaries that includes information regarding him \ her as well as of family and developing a comprehensive information profile.

d. Quality Control

All SADO programs are periodically monitored against predetermined quality/performance indicators. In order to do this SADO develops quality indicators matrix for regular monitoring of quality. Staff collects data on prescribed indicators matrix periodically for analysis. After the data is analyzed the performance of each activity is assessed and the results are shared with the concerned staff to address weaknesses and bring improvements.
The local CBOs also serve as a feedback mechanism to ensure that various activities, community meetings, and events are taking place according to the implementation plan.
